Although I can't read it, I like the
depth and composition.
It is also artwork using art media.
The Traitor. 1926.
It has just the right amount going on.
Even thought it is somewhat flat,
you can still tell it has a foreground,
midground, and a background.
The Man from the Forest. 1928.
The foreground and the background
play very well.
He has images in the foreground,
but at the same time the background
is still in your face.
